Maybe for Creators
Your OCD course, with a coach that teaches it your way.
Build your course into Maybe, sell it from a page of your own, and offer a membership with Maybe’s coach set up the way you teach. We take the payments and pay you monthly.
For course authors and creators with an audience, therapist or not. Free to start, with no approval to wait for. A therapist sharing with your own clients? See Maybe for therapists.
Courses
A course people work through, not one they leave half watched.
Lessons people do, not just watch.
Chat-based exercises, quizzes, your YouTube or Vimeo videos and your worksheets, in one lesson on their phone.
Written around each person.
Mark a paragraph and say what may change. Each person reads it around their own situation; the rest stays exactly as you wrote it.
Live when you say so.
Publish when it's ready, with no wait for approval. Try it as Sam Rivera first, and keep editing a new version while the last one stays live. Maybe takes down anything that breaks its content rules.
Support, not treatment.
What you publish is education and self-help for people living with OCD. It isn't treatment and doesn't replace care from a clinician, so don't present it as either.
Already selling it?
Take payment your way. Host it here for free.
Take payment your way, with no fee.
Keep selling through your own site, Stripe, PayPal, an invoice or your community. Maybe takes nothing from a payment it didn't handle.
Send each buyer a link or a code.
Make an access link or code for a course, single use or for a set number of people, with an expiry. Buyers open it in Maybe and the course is theirs.
Nothing for them to pay Maybe.
Your lessons, videos, worksheets and quizzes work without a Maybe subscription. If they want the coach as well, your link gets them 20% off.
We bring your course in, free.
Send us your lesson text, PDFs, video links and quizzes, and our team turns them into drafts in your portal for you to check and publish.
Or let Maybe sell it for you: charge once or monthly, at your price, and keep 90% of net course sales. Customers pay Maybe, and Maybe pays you monthly.
Membership with coaching
Your courses, and a coach between them.
Set up the coach the way you teach.
Every course you publish.
One monthly price for all your courses, including the ones you add later.
Your coach between lessons.
Maybe's coach, set up with your tone, techniques and words. It knows your courses. Your set-up changes how it talks, never Maybe's safety rules, which always come first. It goes live without review, so you try it as Sam Rivera before anyone else does.
In place of a Maybe subscription.
Members don't pay twice. You set the price, at least US$29 a month so it covers the coach.
Reach and revenue
Reach more people, without more hours.
More from the audience you have.
Followers who would never book a call can buy a course or join your membership from your page, in a few taps on their phone.
Revenue that repeats.
A membership renews monthly, and each member keeps your coach between lessons, so you earn from the work they keep doing, not one download.
Your teaching, at any hour.
The coach answers in your tone and points people to your lessons at 2am, so your reach isn't limited to the hours you can post or reply.
Anywhere English is spoken.
Sell to people in Australia, the UK, the US, New Zealand, Canada and Ireland from one page, with the checkout, tax and refunds handled for you.
How you’re paid
Three ways you’re paid.
Your courses
Host your OCD course on Maybe at no cost, sold once or monthly. You set the price and keep 90% of net course sales. Sell it yourself instead and Maybe takes nothing.
Members from your public page
If you share your course publicly, you receive 25% of net revenue from members who join through your public page. Founding partners (the first 20 practices and creators to make a sale through their public page, counted together) receive 40% for their first 12 months, then 25%.
If you're a therapist: your clients
Your clients pay 20% less instead. Professional codes don't let a clinician take a share of what their own clients spend, so you don't receive a commission on your clients' subscriptions. Your course sales to them still pay you.
Getting paid takes four steps.
Tell us where you're based
Australia, the UK, the US, New Zealand, Canada or Ireland, so your prices carry the right tax.
Accept Maybe's agreement
Once: what you sell is self-help used alongside care, never in place of it, and nobody's care depends on buying it.
Tell us where to pay you
In Australia, Stripe, the payment provider Maybe uses, checks who you are and takes your bank account in about five minutes. Elsewhere you email us the account for a bank transfer.
Paid monthly, with a statement
Customers pay Maybe. Once a month your share reaches your bank, through Stripe in Australia and by bank transfer elsewhere, with a statement showing every payment behind it.
Paid once a month.
A payment is paid once the period it covered has ended and its 30-day refund window has passed, so your first payout comes about two months after your first sale.
A statement for every payout.
Every payment behind it, and how your share was worked out: what was paid, refunds, GST, card fees and what the coach cost to run.
No tiers, targets or leaderboards.
The share is the same for your first member and your hundredth.
Net is what the customer paid, less refunds, GST, card fees and, for the coach, what it costs to run. What you receive depends on your prices and who chooses to join, so we don’t quote a typical figure.

Questions creators ask.
- Who can sell courses on Maybe?
- Anyone who teaches people living with OCD, in Australia, the UK, the US, New Zealand, Canada or Ireland: therapists, people with lived experience and creators with an audience. There's no application. Set up, publish when you're ready, and Maybe takes down anything that breaks its content rules.
- Do I need to be a therapist to earn?
- No. A creator who isn't a therapist has no clients, so everything they sell is paid the same way: their courses, and members who join through their public page.
- What does it cost me?
- Nothing. Hosting courses, your page, setting up your coach and having our team bring an existing course in are free. Maybe earns only when it sells something.
- Can I keep taking payment myself?
- Yes. Take payment however you do now and give each buyer an access link or code: Maybe takes no fee on a payment it didn't handle, and they need no Maybe subscription to do the course. Our team will bring the course in for you free.
- How am I paid?
- You keep 90% of net course sales, and receive 25% of net revenue from members who join through your public page, or 40% for the first 20 creators for their first 12 months. Maybe pays monthly, once the period a payment covered has ended and its 30-day refund window has passed, with a statement showing every payment behind it.
- Why is nothing paid on a therapist's own clients?
- Professional codes for psychologists and counsellors don't allow a clinician to take a share of what their own clients spend, because it could sway what they recommend. So if you treat someone, they're your client however they arrive: they pay 20% less for Maybe instead, and you don't receive a commission on your clients' subscriptions. Courses you sell them still pay you.
- Where can I be paid?
- Wherever you are in those six countries. Creators in Australia are paid through Stripe; in the UK, US, New Zealand, Canada and Ireland, Maybe pays you by bank transfer each month. Either way you get the same monthly statement.
- Are there targets or tiers?
- No. No volume tiers, sales targets or leaderboards. The share is the same for your first member and your hundredth.
- Can I post about Maybe on my socials?
- Yes. Label anything you're paid for as an ad, make no promise about results, and if you mention the free trial, say its terms. If you're not a therapist, you can share someone's story with their explicit permission. If you are one, your registration rules bar client testimonials in advertising, even with permission.
- Is Maybe treatment?
- No. Maybe is a self-help and coaching tool built around ERP principles. It doesn't replace treatment.
